Mr Turk can’t stop wearing this trouser. The colors are exceptional, the fit is superb and it feels great all day and night. Stretch cotton twill keps you looking pressed and handsome. The narrow opening with a little ease in the thighs is a sharp silhouette and the clean “Hollywood” waist would be approved by Fred Astair.
At Mr Turk, our first step in the design process is always fabric selection. A garment can only be as good as the fabric it’s made from. That’s why I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite fabrics for Fall 2012. It’s called The Herringbone Deluxe and it’s worth getting excited over. We developed this tweed fabrication with the Italian mill, Caverni Gramigni, a producer of high quality piece goods.
The first thing you notice about this classic herringbone weave are the sensational color combinations. Rich Red with CoCo Brown, Aqua with Pistachio Green, and Baby Blue with navy turn a traditional tweed into something really special.
The fact that the fabric is a wool, cotton and acrylic blend means it’s soft and comfortable while wearing well and holding its shape. I’m such a fan of the Herringbone Deluxe I just wanted to let you know why.
